Sad to report, Eric J. Mercer passed away on January 24th. Eric is a former member of the 165th ASOS and is survived by his wife Sarah. business attire.
Visitation and funeral services for TSgt Eric Mercer will be this Wednesday, January 28th, at Garden City United Methodist Church (62 Varnedoe Avenue, Garden City, GA 31408). Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until noon. The funeral service will be at noon. There will be no graveside service. Appropriate dress is Class A uniform or comparable

Elmer Passed away from Stage 4 Cancer
Comments on the attached photos. Elmer was laid to rest in beautiful San Diego California attended to by his family and friends. One interesting note (the picture with the truck), as was common with the old vehicles at Irwin, Elmers truck might require a jump to get it going....same for his final vehicle ride. Luckily Retired TACPs and support maint folks were around to take care of it. At his final lunch several of us managed to get down to say good bye to our friend.
We will miss you Elmer, take a knee and hydrate. Wait for us with Delay and our other departed brothers at the final rally point
